Lately, Weltanschauung has been posting lots of bad news from Downrangeland.

You can’t possibly believe that, can you Chris? I think this little thing I wrote puts war in its place winning battles or not, you have to make sure they are the right battles. War what’s it really good for?
And here’s another one after I was demobilized I don’t think either of those are very lefty… decidedly un-lefty, but I still disagree strongly with the direction in which we were headed at the time.
and by the way, we have forgotten… all the hard won lessons of Vietnam. You see it’s like this. When all you have is a hammer everything starts to look like a nail. That’s America with its bit military hammer using it in all these inappropriate places. The hammer is good for specific tasks, none of which is democratization of the middle east *G*.
