The Best Thing About This Tour

The best thing about this deployment was meeting this guy:

. . . At least according to him! You know how these young folks can be brash sometimes.

You’re doing great work, AJ! Keep it up!

    It’s good to have confidence.

I didn’t realize you are an F-16 pilot until I read that link. Way cool! We live near McEntire ANG and Sumter AFB in S.C. and what I call F-16s but may be another number fly over all the time. No matter how many times I’ve seen them, I have to stop and watch.

One day as I was unloading the groceries they were almost putting on an airshow, doing maneuvers I can’t describe but were spectacular. Turns out they were returning from Iraq and their families were watching. Enough to give me goosebumps and tears!

    Be careful up there!

Hey, Elay! Thank you for the comment, I’m having a relatively nice time. I’m not sure where I am anymore, I keep moving back and forth, and not just within the RP. I know AJ’s back from whence he came, but I’ll tell him “Hello” if I hear from him.
